Accurately evaluating a property depends on getting the most reliable and updated information on recent sales. The local MLS is the best place to get this data. But if you are not a Real Estate agent, it can be difficult or impossible to get access. Does anyone have any ideas on overcoming this problem?

I don't think you can get MLS without being an agent. But most agents are happy to pull comps for you on properties as long as you give them the business and let them write your offer.

I have been usinf E COMPS for about a month now and I think the comp data is just as good as the MLS and easier to use. Take their free trial, it is great.
